Academic background
Mr Bhattacharya completed his graduation in the Science stream from Fergusson College, Pune and went on to do his MBA from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Gujarat. His academic background equipped him with the basic industry knowledge with which he joined Kancor Ingredients and began his innings in the food processing sector.
It is where Mr Bhattacharya learnt the ropes of the food processing business. He has been associated with the company for over 15 years now. He joined Kancor at an administrative level and grew with the firm, working in various capacities. He gained enormous experience in the domains of management, marketing, promotion, product development as well as finance.
His administrative skills, proficiency in solving problems and ability to motivate his colleagues played a key role in the success of OmniActives. His hard work and perseverance have helped the company become a well-known name in the domestic and international markets.

Mr Bhattacharya has worked in the food processing industry in various capacities. Establishing new linkages in untapped markets and promoting his company’s products in these markets has been one of his primary goals.
