Ajeet Seeds Limited was incepted in the year 1986. The company was founded in order to provide seeds to enhance crop cultivation. The company gradually started with the production and distribution of public hybrids and varieties. It also undertook R&D activities across the country under the guidance of Thombre, who is a renowned agri-scientist. Currently, the company provides 22 crops with 55 hybrid varieties. Location Ajeet Seeds Limited is located in Paithan, Aim It aims to boost the agriculture sector in the country by implementing innovative techniques like agri biotechnology to improve productivity and fertility of vegetable crops, cereals and oil seeds. R&D activities undertaken by the company determines the gene prospects, which facilitates in detecting the resistance of crop from biotic and abiotic stresses. The efficient R&D team is also endeavouring to develop diagnostic tools that will aid identification of proteins and disease indexing in crops.
