Store-brand Milk at Auchan Sports FSC-Labelled Packages

Auchan, one of the world’s renowned retailers, plans to launch store-brand milk produced by local dairies in the Massif Central region in Central France. To package the product, the retail firm has selected the Tetra Gemina Aseptic package from Tetra Pak, a package certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

The new generation of Tetra Pak packages provides various environmental advantages and shelf benefits. The FSC label ensures that all the wood fibres used for the package come from well managed forests and controlled sources.

The Tetra Gemina Aseptic is recyclable and more than 60 per cent of the packaging material comes from renewable sources, such as other Tetra Pak packages. Moreover, the weight, transportation, storage and distribution systems reduce energy consumption, storage space and lower carbon dioxide emissions. The new package preserves the flavour and nutritional qualities of the product while providing a strong shelf-impact and the advantages of ambient distribution at competitive costs.
