
AB Mauri, a well known bakery ingredients manufacturer, has launched a new variety of bun in Mumbai. Commercially packaged as the ‘Fun Bun’, the bun is available in mouthwatering flavours like coffee and strawberry. Launched in the presence of over 110 companies from around 18 countries, AB Mauri has brought in the product to tap the potential apparent in Indian markets. Despite its foreign origin, the company has localised its product ingredients, formulations and manufacturing technology to suit the palate of the Indian consumer. AB Mauri has also launched around 2,000 different flavours, of which around 75 per cent formulations have been developed in India itself.
