With the growing customer demand for beverage closures in India, US-based Closure Systems International (CSI) has planned to set up a dedicated beverage closure plant in Bengaluru. The plant is scheduled to become operational by the first half of 2010. The new facility, with its integrated design and manufacturing flexibility, will employ the latest manufacturing technology. This will help the company to achieve shorter turnover times while maintaining quality consistency. Along with generating business profits, the plant will also generate employment in India, thus contributing to the country’s economy. As a multi-pronged strategic establishment, the plant will help the company to establish its business in the Middle East, India, and Africa, with a total of four manufacturing plants and multiple sales offices. As per CSI's official release, the plant will also provide technical services and deliver high-speed capping equipment.
