It is one of the most important events in Asia. In 2010, the event will be held from August 26-28 at Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Aahar International Food Fair 2010,Chennai will be organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), under Government of India that endorses external trade through exhibitions and fairs in India and overseas.
Food processing and other food-related products as well as equipment used in hotels and restaurants will be on display during this 3-day event. The food products to be displayed will range from processed food to beverages. The event will also update companies about the latest innovations and technologies used in the food processing industry.
Last year, the fair witnessed participation of 450 companies from countries such as Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Pakistan, the US, Serbia and Turkey.
