The 21st International Agricultural Exhibition — Agro-2009 — is scheduled to be held from June 11-14, in Kiev, Ukraine. The international event is slated to draw more than 5 lakh visitors from various parts of the world.
AGRO-2009 will be organised by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ukraine, in partnership with the Ministry of Industrial Policy, Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences.
AGRO is considered to be one of the most important exhibitions for agriculture, food industry, livestock farming and agricultural machinery in Ukraine. The 73,000-square metre event venue will comprise 12 pavilions, demonstration areas and open spaces. Given the good response that the event has received in the past few years, the upcoming edition is also expected to be a grand success.
The exhibition will provide an ideal platform for manufacturers, exporters and suppliers engaged in the agriculture, dairy and food processing sectors. It is expected to bring together 2,220 exhibitors, including 120 international exhibitors on a global platform.
It would also integrate several exhibitions that are also expected to see high footfalls. Some of the events integrated in the AGRO-2009 include:
· 8th specialised exhibition for veterinary farming and livestock farming “Animal’EX-2009”
· 4th specialised exhibition “Mushroom Industry 2009”
· 3rd specialised exhibition for fishing and fish farming “FISHEXPO-2009”
